I always do this! Yesterday I met a friend to go shopping and we ended up at Express and I actually found a couple of cute things to buy. I get home and sitting on top of my stack of mail...$20 off at express! So frustrating...I need some sort of coupon system to keep up with all of these so I don't forget them.
I usually look at my mail whiel I'm still in the car (because I just drive up to my mialbox), and I throw shopping coupons in the glove box or clip them to the visor so they're always there if I do some impromptu shopping. I still sometimes forget that I have them, though

Ha what I hate is that I have a coupon I know I want to use at a store and as soon as I'm done paying and I stick my wallet in my purse the first thing I see is that coupon!
I do this all the time. even if I put them in my car, I may not have my car with me when I'm in need of them. I should probably put them in my wallet...

I do this all the time w/ restaurant coupons. A couple of our favorite placed do like buy one entree get one free for lunch or on weeknights. I always use a magnet and stick them to the fridge. I hate going out to a restaurant than coming home only to notice a great discount on the fridge.
Oh yeah. Although I stopped into BevMo over the weekend and then left without buying anything, because I remembered I had a 5% coupon at home I wanted to use.
Or, I'll forget that I have a gift card for a particular store with like $8-10 left on it. These are in my wallet and I still forget that I have them.
Yup...its so bad that I'll take it out of my bag and hold it in my hand to hand it to the cashier and I'll pay, walk out and realize I still have the coupon in my hand!
Yes. I did this last week at Gap. But once I was back home, I found the 20% coupon (if I used my credit card) and it was too good not to go back and return the stuff and re-purchase with the coupon. It was a major hassle to go all the way back the next day, but worth it because it saved me around $60.
I have done this too much lately and I used to be so organized with coupons. I have a coupon book I use sometimes when grocery shopping, I use the front tab for retail and restaurant coupons and I "try" to keep the thing in my car so I don't forget.
