There is a vintage Chloe dress for sale on eBay that I am lusting over. However - it is expensive (starting bid is $228), and it is slightly impractical. It's impractical because it's sheer, so I'd have to wear a slip dress under it (or something like that) - but it is wearable and would get wear in the summer. Here are the pics: (front)

Anyway, what are the opinions on the price? I'm not an expert on vintage and this *seems* overpriced, but I am not sure...

it's really pretty. what year is it? maybe you can look at poshvintage.com they have designer vintage and you can maybe do a price comparison.

The auction says "70's" - I am not going to get it, I'll wait and see if they re-list slightly cheaper. If someone else wins it, then too bad for me. It's just a little too much. I'd pay under $175, I think, but not more than...

it's really nice and it is designer, but i think that starting price is high. they'll probably relist it at a lower price. unless some chloe nut bids on it.
