STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Well, I do like the no laces thing but I tend to shy away from that much white on a shoe cuz of the dirt factor. As for the style it is okay but I don't love it. I would say keep looking....but that is just me.

i love them, had them for 2 yrs, they still look brand new and cute w/ weekend wear.

I like them and I don't think black with white stripes would be all that bad either.  I say go for them.

I bought the mei's, which are almost identical to those (black with white stripes) and love them. They are extremely comfortable (actually took them as walking shoes to Europe last spring) and I get tons of compliments on them - from women and weirdly enough, from a lot of men. I personally am not a big fan of white athletic shoes, but from the bits and pieces of info I've been catching, my prediction is that they are making a comeback as streetwear (white athletic shoes are and have always been appropriate for athletic activities - but not streetwear.) I would suggest getting the black, unless you want to be ahead of the trend and start wearing white ones...
