keeping ribbons up on lace-up wedges

I have espadrilles like that too but I don't wear them with the ribbons going up the leg like that. I just crisscross them at the slim ankle part and tie there. Sorry I'm not too helpful but try tying them at the ankle, you may even like that look better.

Um, it's impossible? I honestly have no idea. I have a beautiful pair of lace up shoes I finally put away because I got so frustrated trying to keep the ribbons up. Maybe some boob glue or something?

(I know there's a proper name for it other than "boob glue." I just never remember it and everyone always knows what I'm talking about with the boob glue label.)

I just glue them to my leg, a good super glue will keep them up. Kidding. But maybe double sided tape would work?

Tritto. I feel like the ribbons going up the leg is a little too "trying too hard" for me personally - though I think it looks cute on others.

BTW where are those shoes from??? I have been looking and looking (and looking) for black espadrille wedges and those might just be perfect for what I need...

Ditto. For me, an espadrille is meant to be easy and comfy. Once you start spraying adhesives I think it gets too complicated! I have a similar pair from Banana and I double cross them at the ankle and make a bow in the front, they're just as cute.

It's liquid body adhesive. You can find it all around, I assume. I've seen it at various places but I can't remember specifically where. Maybe Victoria Secret? I think I might have even seen it at craft stores in the bra section (where they have bra extenders, nipple covers, etc.). It's less visible than tape although I'm not sure it's more effective...
