knee-high boots

I've been looking for knee length boots, and all of them seem to hit a couple of inches below my kneecap. I've always thought they should be higher - at the narrow point right below your knee. What do you think? Are the ones I'm trying the right height? Do I need taller ones, and if so, is there a brand with tall size boots?

all the boots i have hit me about there too, and i'm 5'3 so its not that my legs are extra long.  i did just buy a pair of ninewest boots that are a little taller than most that i have, but i couldn't say if this is ninewest in general or just this specific pair.  (i posted them below in "killer deal on boots post)

I have the same problem but I am 5"7" tall. I just found these at Zappos. They are from a company called Baby Phat.


I've never heard of the company, but the shaft is 15" tall, which is an inch or two taller than many "knee high" boots.

These Alston boots by Ralph Lauren also have a 15" shaft.

I have my eye on these from www.shoebuy.com



They are on sale for around $77 and that's because of the code "NEWYEAR" that DC was kind enough to post. They "appear to be quite tall."

I think you would be much better off spending your hard earned dollars on these - much more practical than bronx boots
