Okay ladies, after much thought I think I'm going to go with fun pumps. Normally I'm not really a Steve Madden kinda girl (I love funky shoes but I've had bad luck with them/they remind me a bit of high school sometimes..) but I really like this pair:


I think they're a great pewter color and more fun and interesting than plain pumps (I really wanted something strappy but not a sandal, if that makes sense..)! What do you guys think? TIA!


Okay more advice needed, here's what the other side looks like. I dont know now. Grr. Help!

umm...i really don't like those shoes.   the straps remind me of shoelaces or something.  but maybe they are cuter in person...

If they didn't have the weird stitching on the side, I would say go for it.  Here are some more options, if you're still looking:

my first impression was that they are kind of fun but now i can't get the shoelace thing out of my head.  they are now a weird sneaker-pump thing to me.  unless they're really cute in person, i would keep looking.

i like them too. i just didn't want to be the oddball, so i waited for someone else to post first.   anyway i've seen them in person (well the gold ones) and they really are kick ass looking.

Hmm... they do look rather uncomfortable don't they? I was really kind of going for kick ass and not frilly (which I also love) but I wish the straps went around the whole thing. The weird other side/stitching is just not okay with me, which is convenient because no one has my size (good old 8). So back to the drawing board. I really like everyone's suggestions but you know when you have the perfect shoe (or shirt, or dress...) in your head and you just can't quite find it? I'm having a case of that right about now on my hunt for these darned silver heels! Thanks for all the help, and keep posting shoes if you find them! (Please! :))
