I got a Terry's Chocolate Orange!!! I love those little suckers.

cc - That gift from your grandma is so awesome and cute. I plan to steal Mizzle's salt and pepper shaker when I next visit her castle, perhaps you and I can arrange a duel over it?

yeah, my grandma can be a bitch, but that present always tugs at my heart strings a bit....i think about the years when she was mobile enough to get up to lord and taylor to buy me ridiculously expensive jewelry that i only ever wore when i visited her. actually, it does make me genuinely sad. also her cat died last week and she's really upset.

oh my other grandma gave me a cute glass bear ornament.....and my sister got a hideous clown! hahaaaa i refused to trade with her!

is it wrong that i really wanted to steal the tooth scarf from my sister after i gave it to her? she wore it out that night and the little molars kept taunting me.

I got

from sis and husband: an awesome pink handmade scarf and l'occtaine set (she taught me how to knit over the weekend and I am now addicted to it! I made a scarf of my own! yay!)

from uncle: GC to macy's and a Gold AAA membership (I love it that he gets me this every year, I lock myself out of my car religiously...cuz I'm a dumbass!)

from uncles, aunts and family: money, money, money

my mom: she adopts a child every year and spoils her to death in leiu of giving me and my older sis gifts. It's awesome and it's really gratifying, this 6 year old child was told there is no such thing as santa...that's just not fair :(

from my ex: a huge giftbasket full of candy and other crap to give to my family and he got me the Dooney & Bourke "It Bag" Tassel Tote in brown

co workers: random stuff, brooches, cookies, candies...

I almost forgot the best gift of all! Mys sis is going to have a baby! I'm going to be an auntie!!! Yay! :)

ugly sweater...sorry...with matching hat, gloves and scarf
pink ribbed t-neck

For hannukah I got a Nordstroms CG...I went shopping this weekend with it and got a blue leather Kenneth Cole tote

money...I put that directly into the wedding fund...
I really wanted a mini ipod...I might just go buy that for myself after the newyear...
Also, my fiancee and I went to home depot and spent a ton....we are redoing the kitchen and the bedroom...that was kind of a present to us from us

i did pretty well this year...

this watch but with a silver face... i like it but it's a little too big for my super-tiny wrists so i'm not sure what i'm going to do about it...

this sweater which i didn't think i liked because it's really not my style, but it's actually cute on...there's stripes (pink/cream/teal) down the arms..

new slippers
nautica bathrobe (i needed a new one so yay!)
makeup bags
pjs from ny&co that are soo soft
fun little socks
some awesome earrings
spa gc
$50 barnes & noble gc
$75 in simply certificates
jon stewart's "america"
another political book that i can't remember right now
mac mv2 perfume - i forgot how much i love it, i think it may become my signature scent...
this book - so crazy. it's taken from the website grouphug.us where people go and just post anonymous confessions and WOW girls, the ones that have been posted here have nothing on that site. i read the whole book on saturday...some of them are obviously made up. but it lets you know just how "normal" you are and also that there are way more sickos out there than you've ever imagined. one that sticks out in my mind is "i saw my father murder a man once, and no one knows, including him." that's a lot to walk around with.

umm...i think that's it. oh, and a decent amount of money, wonderful food, lots of fun and love!

I think this was my best Christmas so far....not just the gifts.

I got....
Six gift cards...Target, Wal-Mart (for school stuff), iTunes, Gap, Sheetz and a debit gift card that can be used anywhere.

AE Kelly Green fleece hoodie. I have the same thing in orange and wear it all the time!

Clay Aiken Christmas CD and book which is soo good.

Pink slippers to use at school

A sleeping mask to use at school to sheild myself from the light of my room mate.

A big stuffed monkey. It's actually like a baby curious george.

18 Kt. gold over sterling silver with diamond (there is another word after diamond...I forget what it is, but I don't think they're real

Silver square shaped earrings that I might end up returning

A robe and slippers (exchanging the slippers) to keep at home

A really ugly cheap wallet that I'm returning.

A journal and NYC wall calander

A sweater from Old Navy

A rolling briefcase/book bag. My dad got it for me after I told him I wouldn't use it because it's noisy cumbersome (spelling?)...so I may exchange/return it.

A matching scarf set for my new winter coat that is super ugly. So I"m exchanging that.

A really cheap looking velour suit from Sears (Returning!)

Red and blue rainboots to match my red raincoat. I needed these 4 months ago. I've fallen twice because of the rain and was soaked by some heavy rains early Fall at school....so not fun.

An electric toothbrush by Interplak which I love! I brush my teeth a lot more than I used to because it's so easy!

West Side Story on DVD. I've been wanting to watch it recently....love love WSS.

I did really well. I think I got just about everything on my list..plus i can exchange/return some things for clothes and shoes which I need the most.

Lola that is amazing that your mom does that every year. You are right there is nothing more gratifying. Me and my boyfriend started that tradition this year. It was absolutely amazing.

It was cool, she got her like 30 gifts! It was awesome to wrap them all up for her. My mom teaches in a high school and one of the girls told her that her little sis was told there was no such thing as santa because her parents couldn't afford it this year...my mom made sure santa came through for her! :)

I just played Anita at a local theater. I loved every minute of it. I grew up on that musical.
