i bought this dress first. it's pretty, silk and was a GREAT deal. it's about a size or two too big on me, but for the price ($20 - tracy reese) would be worth altering.



but then today i bought this in a local boutique. i knew it was similar when i bought it, but thought it was nice and light, perfect for summer. (and cotton!)

i think i really love the maxi dress more, but since the first was so cheap, thought about keeping both. thoughts?

thanks, tara. just wasn't sure because they are both green, have criss-cross backs and a plunge-neckline! (but have a different vibe, i think!)

I think the second one is nicer, but I say keep both. And may I add: mrrrrowr. The second one in particular makes you look about six feet tall with legs a mile long.

alagirl - it's trina turk. i think it's from last year. the boutique i got it at stores their sale items seasonally so they bring back out last seasons stuff for sale this season. (which is good AND bad i guess!) i would check off 5th/ebay/etc.
