I like it and would be thrilled to get it. I don't agree with m that this style is on it's way out - I think it's just recently gained solid ground and don't see it looking dated for the next couple of years - plenty of time to get plenty of wear out of it.

oh my gosh that is so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... both the coat and the fact that your bf went to a store you shop at and got something that he thought you would like. i say keep it. i've seen that coat on people in person and if it fits right, it looks really good.
