D, I'm so sorry.  My grandmother passed away on Thursday after being diagnosed with liver cancer less than 3 months ago, she lived with my mother since I was a young girl up until I moved out--she was very dear and near to my heart and life.  I understand a lot of the emotions you are feeling.  Stay strong!  You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
