There's been a death in my shoe family

Sad news, guys. My red shoes have finally died. I went to put them on this morning and realized that not only have the soles cracked (on both shoes) right at the point where you bend your feet, but the heels have developed holes right near the soles. This is a terribly sad day. They were the perfect, perfect shoe.

Do you guys think you can help me find a replacement pair? I'm looking for red (not maroon, burgundy, or brick) leather but patent is probably okay. I would prefer pointy-toe, but can negotiate on rounder toes. Oh, duh...they were flats, but also could maybe work with kitten heels. Under $100 and size 8 would be perfect.

I've already checked:
Piperlime
Gap
Urban
Steve Madden
Nine West
**May not have checked the last two and first one as extensively as possible due to the fact that I'm sitting at work now.**

Thanks!

Why don't you have them resoled and get new heels put on?

Not sure if your old ones had any special style aside from pointy and flat, but here are some.

These two don't meet your $$ limit

Michael by MK ($113) - they're cute though

Stuart Weitzman ($170)

The resoling part would work, but the heel hole is actually on the back of the shoes, as opposed to the actual heel part (the part that you walk on). And the shoes really are just ready to be put away. They are incredibly scuffed on the toe as well.

Rats!  That stinks.  I feel your pain; I am going to be very sad on the day that I have to hang up my favorite red flatscry

boys.jpgI too had a very sad shoe loss this month.  I have had these amazing black tall boots for years and they have served me well.  Leather, pointy toe, 3 inch heel, leather strings threaded up the back, very sexy.  One morning at work I was walking through the office and thought my heel fell in a hole, only, there was no hole.  There was no heel.  It cracked off right at the top.  And yes, it was morning so I had to hobble around the rest of the day.  Very sad.

Only yesterday did I stop the mourning process because I found:Photobucket

$90 on sale for $25!!!!!!!!  Hello Lover!!  They will be on my feet in a matter of days.

So, I feel your pain, good luck with your new shoe hunt!

I have a pair similar to these styles and they go with everything. They're awesome. The patent really makes them pop, imo. Mine look the most like the SW pair but they're all pretty close.
