i spent the weekend with my fiance's family for a pre-xmas celebration and they all got me banana republic gift cards for the holidays - perhaps inspired by seeing me in a BR sweater at a get-together earlier in the month. anyway, i've got a total of $250 in gift cards to spend at BR and nothing is jumping out at me right now... anyone love anything from BR right now that they'd like to bring to my attention?


otherwise i'm thinking i might hold out until the spring and use them then...

I have been salivating over this skirt ever since I tried it on in BR the day after Thanksgiving.  It feels so good and would look great in the Spring.  I am waiting for it to go on sale because I simply won't pay $98 for it.  However, with your giftcard you could afford it.  Hmmm... if you get it, think about me:

It's so cute on! Very flattering and stylish, if you have to wear a suit.
 
Also these shoes:


Who can't use such a perfect pair of silver shoes?
 
Also the sequined capelet thing that's in all their ads and in their windows but I can't find it online.

These are the things I want from BR...


I love this sweater cami and it's on sale for $32.  What's holding me back is I think I would have a hard time making outfits with it...



I like this scarf even if it's a little imitation Burberry and it's on sale for $25...



These boots are classly, simple, and on sale for $99...



I love all of these if you're in need of metallic shoes...



These are cute and personally, I'd get a lot of wear out of them...

Smash, I have the same problem...I received $175 in BR gift certificates and noting really jumps out at me either....
I was thinking about that white skirt with the turquoise and green flower pattern on it, or the yellow cardigan with the leopard print lining....sorry, I cannot figure out to post pics....
I think I might just wait for spring to use the GC

I was just in the Banana by my work over the weekend and they had some of their early spring collection in the store.  Bright colors, cute stuff overall.  A cropped belted trench coat in green caught my eye but I ran out before getting too tempted - thus I don't have too many details but if you have the chance to get in to a store, I would check it out.  As far as I can tell, none of their spring stuff is online yet.  Hope this helps and happy gift card spending!
