OK so I'm channeling young punk mohawk wearing me of the 90's and in love with these leggings

and really want to get them. Do you think I can make them a little more age appropriate like with a long tunic or loose flowy top of some sort?

What do you think? How would you make them age appropriate? Or should I just give them up, stop being delusional leave it for the younger girls?

I don't know doll, I say let the past stay in the past. You can rock a lot of trends, but I am just not feeling that one for you. Take note that those girls weren't around for that trend the first time it happened...

Definitely not a look for everyone, but with a loose top/tunic/tee I can definitely see someone rocking this look.

Personally, I don't think I would do it. But usually it depends on the outfit... perhaps the cheaper version like erin suggested would be a good option.

I love it and would rock them if I had a slimmer build, so I think they can be made age-appropriate with a looser top or a long cardi over them. I'd try out the AA lame leggings too first since they're cheaper.

Faith Hill wore pants similar to these at the country awards and got slammed for looking too old!
I say, if you like them, go for it!

I am not really a leggings fan--ok, I did actually wear them with a dress, for the first time not too long ago, but it was cold--but I like these ones.  I say try them, though I do have to wonder how comofrtable they are.

thanks Erin. I love the look.  I'm curious if the rubberines would make you sweat.  My vinal flat sandals make me sweat. I can't imagine what these leggings would do. yuck!

ditto. I think its a very young look and wouldn't be flattering on a person that doesn't still have a teenagers body.

Plus, I doubt they'd be very comfortable.

Lol, do these remind anyone else of the episode of friends where Ross wears the leather pants??

I say go for it! It will either work or it won't, not harm trying! smile.gif
