I need a nice work coat.  Right above the knee, car coat-lengthish, most importantly warm.  Spending most of January/February in Latvia & England, thus, I must break down and buy a "real coat".  Any suggestions, ideas?

Have you tried J.Crew?  A bunch of ladies here have coats from there and say they're very warm if you get the thinsulate lined ones.
