Making Cut-off Denim Shorts?
Permalink Closed

I really want a pair of cut-off denim shorts like these:

...but I don't want to pay a butt-load for a pair of freakin' shorts. Do you think I could make a pair look like this if I cut up some old jeans? Any tips on how to get it to fray just right?

I just bought a pair of sale ON bermudas last summer and cut them to the length I wanted. To fray them up right away, I took the cut edges and rubbed them on the carpet!

I make shorts like these out of all my jeans that are too long. Just remember to cut them longer than you actually want them because the fraying will take like a good inch off of the bottom
