God, I'm up late and I have to wake up in a couple of hours for another event of ours. I got some stuff for (R.) (<-- my boyfriend/non-boyfriend) which I mentioned in the "Gifts for Boyfriend" thread.

For tonight while I was online, I just got this:

It's a Lux Satin Trim Tux Pants in Black. I was going to get it in Slate (blue) but I thought that it would be too casual for my liking. At least in black, I can play it off as dressy casual.

I went to Old Navy and they are having a sale. I got:

In black for 4.99 (bc i lost my other black scarf)

for 5.79

metallic blue clutch with a wrist ring for 1.97!!!

This for around 7 dollars. I wanted turquoise but they only had this color left in my size. I think it kind of washes me out though. But under blazers it looks cute

Then a green sheer ls tee with a cami built in underneath that peaks out.

All of this for $22!!!!

I personally didn't buy anything, but I inherited a hot pair of Dior sunglasses. My brother ordered them off eBay and because they aren't 'Dior Homme' he thinks they are girl glasses, so he gave them to me. Yipee! AND I KNOW they aren't fakes... his loss, my gain. I can't find a picture of them anywhere but they gold aviator styles with tan lenses... I think they are hot even thought my brother said I looked like J-Lo.

I went with my dad to buy my mom her x-mas present. He got her a full length mahogeney (sp?) mink fur coat. It was so pretty and I got to try it on. Nothing for me though.

Lynnie - I'm glad you got the Lucky sweater/jacket. I always feel guilty when we talk someone out of something they really liked. What are you going to wear it with? When I look at it again I still think it *could* be pulled off, just not by me, or with the other things in my wardrobe.

With your J.Crew skirt, I know there are times when they say they are a final sale, but they state it when they are. The skirt is super cute and I would wear it with a black 3/4 sleeve turtleneck and or a pink blazer, then some black pumps or maybe some mary janes with a skinny heel, not chunky.

Thanks! My only problem is that I have this thing about thinking that color is too close to my skin tone. I feel like whenever I wear something like that there's not enough contrast or something. Yeah, I'm weird. But I still like this one.

I got a michael stars tee that has a boatneck and 3/4 sleeves and is a bright turquoise. On sale @ Nordies

then I got this AWESOME eye shadow pallate from bobbi brown. It's called the "Shimmer eye kohl pallate" It has 4 colors and a hint of sparkle and the colors are all very dark and charcoaly and very smudgey, I LOVE it! Got one for my sis and one for me! ;) In the pic the colors look very vibrant but IRL they all go on as black kohl w/ a hint of color shimmer.

It was my bday yesterday (but we were celebrating sat. night) so you know I had to have new shoes to go with my new outfit I bought in nyc!

I can't find a pic. though but they are sooo beautiful! Linea Paolo from Nordies - blue velvet flowery pattern (can't see unless upclose), stacked heel, open-toed, (and here's the kicker), little blue rhinestones all over the toe area. They were so pretty that in the store I had a crowd around me, admiring. (okay, they were mostly salespeople but still!) And then when we went out, I had to take them off my feet so people could adequately admire them (their suggestion, not mine).

I highly suggest everyone go get a pair. They were only $120 or so after tax. And soooooo beautiful - definitely the most beautiful pair of shoes I wear currently.
