I'm returning the DVF. The handle felt really cheap and i'm not absolutely sure it would pass the carry-on requirement. And it was really ugly.

I think the LLBean is classic and will last for eternity. Plus, it's 2 cubic feet. The DVF was only 1.12 cubic ft.
