How often do you switch deodorant?
Permalink Closed

I have been using my current brand (Tussy) for about 2 years now.  Lately I feel like it is not keeping my as dry and fresh as it used to.  Does this happen to anyone else?

I don't switch unless there's a problem. I don't think I've ever switched because something stopped working, only because I found something better. I've been on my current one for abut 3-4 years now.

I don't switch, usually. That said, I've started using Secret Clinical strength and while I don't feel comfortable just putting it on just as night (I use my regular during the day), it seems to work pretty well. I use Dove generally though.

I was using my Secret Platimun seriously for like 5-10 years. I started in high school when I used to sweat alot. That problem has subsided entirely so I got the bright idea to switch to a regular deodorant like 6 months ago only bc they are like half the price.

Funny how we are so loyal!

I haven't switched since finding my HG deodarant, Fresh Roll-On Sugar, in 2004. So far it's still working as well as the first time, even if it is $$$

Weird.  I didn't know that people switch deodorants (well, come to think of it, my BF just buys whatever is on sale at the time)--I guess I never had to so I never thought about it.  I have used the same one ever since I can remember.  I know it's Secret but I don't even know which kind--I just know what it looks like.

Farrah, I've had the same issue recently with the Dove I've been using for years. I just feel like it's not keeping me as fresh as it usually does but I don't know what to switch to!

Hmm, I think I switch every time I need a new stick. However, I use Certain Dri at night as well, so I guess I'm sort of loyal because I've used that for like a year or two now.

Actually Collette, the reason I started using Tussy two years ago was because my Dove started acting up.  Before that I used it for years.  *SIGH* this stinks.  Maybe I will try that LBD approved Degree.  I have heard good things about it...

I've switched around alot too - Dove makes my white clothes instantly yellow in the pits even if I don't sweat at all, and I never had good luck with Secret.  I tried Mitchum clear gel for awhile but it takes really long to dry.  Right now I'm using Arm&Hammer, which works nicely and doesn't have a scent and magically doesn't leave marks on my clothes.

I used mens deoderant for years though - works much better than most womens brands!  My favorite was Speed Stick 24/7, which comes in some nice not-too-masculine scents too.

I also use Certain-Dri at night, but only during the summer.

I've been using the LBD Degree for the past year or so and love it.  Keeps me fresh and no compliants.  I also use Certain Dri at night & the combo of the two works great for me.

I like Mitchellum or whatever it is. Been using it for a year or more.
