I say if you LOVE it, just get it. I'm always way more happy with one great gift than a few nice but not great gifts. If it is something you think you'd use a lot, it'll end up being worth the $$$. It's Christmas, let him splurge on you!

It really all depends on how much you really love and want this purse. If its worth it to
you to not receive other gifts. I personally dont like the purse that much, I would prefer to
get more gifts. But thats just me.

I love that bag and I would probably get it for the following reasons:

-it's gorgeous

-it's roomy

-it's versatile (both colorwise and is good for work and wkend)

-you would probably still want this one if you ended up getting a less expensive one.

-one fabulous gift is much better than several so-so gifts.

-the best gift is something you wouldn't likely splurge on yourself.

To test out a purse you need to know will work with your outfits, you should buy something similar. Buy a cheaper alternative and see how often you use it. If you feel like you'd die without it, then buy this Coach bag. If you find yourself not using it too often, then don't get it. Hope this helps!

I have seen it in person too and it is really beautiful! I would say look at your closet and if you tend to wear a lot of color or prints than it may be too much, but if you usually wear solids and nuetrals then it would be a great addition to your wardrobe.

I'm in the minority but I don't like it. I think it will look dated this time next year. For what it costs you could get a more fabulous bag from a more chicer label than Coach.

If you love it then let him get it for you but personally I don't really like it all that much. I would think it might be hard to wear and really might not go with as much as we think it could.

i agree. if you like it then you should definitely get it, but the fact that you're debating over it probably means you could find something else that you're more sure about.

For the price, I would get something easier to wear. I know some of us feel this is versatile but it really depends on your wardrobe - this bag would *not* be versatile in my wardrobe! Plua, if you're hemming and hawing that makes me think you're not completely in love...
