Martha Stewart 400 count sheets - bad!
Permalink Closed

I bought Martha Stewart for Macys 400 threadcount sheets, on sale from like $120 to like $50.  I thought what a bargain!  Not!  They are so crappy and stiff, thick, scratchy, they feel like 200 count sheets that I got at Target years ago.  It made me wonder, is there some sort of "threat count" council?  I feel like I've been duped!

I can't believe she put her name on them!  I always feel before I buy since you cannot go by thread count to determine softness.  The best sheets I have ever gotten actually came from Kohl's.  It was their luxury ones on a super buy for about the same price you said you got yours, $50 from $120.

My coworker had this same experience last year! I read recently that there is a class action lawsuit against Bed Bath and Beyond going on over high thread count sheets because they supposedly falsely represented the true number of threads so other people definitely feel duped by a lot of these brands.

I gave up on finding cheaper high thread count sheets because I never liked them and I've totally converted to Pure Beech modal sheets.
