Lingerie Websites?
Permalink Closed

For my birthday this year, I want to finally get some "grown up" underpinnings for myself.  The sites that I have been looking at are pretty limited or trashy or way too expensive.  I just have found nothing to catch my eye.

Where do you guys shop for lingerie online?

TIA!

A few of the more popular online stores are figleaves.com and barenecessities.com. For larger cup bras, bravissimo.com comes highly recommended.

If you can go to a local store and try some of the brands on before you shop, you may save yourself a lot of trouble. I have favorite brands and sometimes buy them brand new on e-bay for a fraction of the cost.

Lejaby, fantasie, panache, and prima donna are a few very good brands.

Oh wow, this is my specialtyidea

The basics -and- pretty things can be found at figleaves.com and herroom.com. Barenecessities.com has a lot of basics and a small selection of sexy stuff, but rarely has anything that the other two don't have so I usually don't even bother looking there.

I don't know what your price range is, but there are some great sales going on at the moment. Lucky you, I write for the-lingerie-post.com and I literally just finished updated our "sales" section when I came over to ST and saw your post. Here are some good general sites and some links to sales:

Let me know if you need more suggestions. I have piles and piles of them!

ETA: I made the above list thinking of sites that have fancier versions of stuff you can wear every day (i.e. bras & panties) as well as some more of the sexier stuff (i.e. corsets, garters, etc.). If you're looking solely for the way sexier stuff, I have a whole other list of recssmile

E(again)TA: If you haven't had a proper bra fitting, you definitely need to do that before you invest in any expensive or "grown-up" underpinnings. You can do this at little lingerie stores, or Nordies is also actually a great place to go. The problem with most chain and department stores (like VS, and Macys, etc) is that they tend to put you in whatever they have. Which means that if you fall out of their size range, they'll put you in something that doesn't fit just to make a sale. Too many people learn this the hard way (or never learn at all). I actually know someone who worked at VS and said that in their training videos, they were told to put people into a different size if VS didn't carry their correct size.

I also like Bare Necessities. I love Chantelle bras - they're pretty and comfy!
