I want a new watch for my birthday. I like Nixon watches but don't see anything right now that really interests me. I also looked at Diesel.
What are some other brands I could look for that make cool watches? I'm looking for something silver or stainless and minimal, no diamonds or bling or anything like that. In the under $500 range.

I know Fossil is very popular, but I've never really looked at their watches before.  My go-to brand for everyday watches has always been Skagen because they have more delicate styles (I have tiny wrists).  Most of their watches are $100-130.

If you want something more high-end, Overstock has Movados for around $500 and less:

I don't know the difference between all the "Swiss Army" watches but I know it's been discussed here before.

I love skagen watches too.  They are well-made and relatively inexpensive.  But if I were you, I would check out the movados on overstock!

I really love my Michele watch that I got last year. I think they've got a unique style that is also classic.
