i have these nina shoes in black and they are very cute and comfortable. they are $55 on zappos.com

ETA - do you have a DSW near you? i was in my local DSW recently and they were selling the AK gold strappy sandals that many of us on the forum have (i have them and i believe Vanessa and JMR also do) for $39.99. so it might be worth checking out if you have one near you.

I agree with Smash's suggestion. Nina shoes are really comfortable and they always have gold strappy shoes.

I have these in silver, but they offer them in gold and I wish I got the gold instead...

Lola those shoes are to die for! i want them so bad my feet are hurting for them. why oh why do i have to be so tall?! the heels look really high on these.

are there any shorter heel options out there?

I have these shoes too and I would highly recommend them, as long as you can walk in taller heels.

My pair was $24.99 at Lord and Taylor.
