Drugstore Foundation Recs
Permalink Closed

I need your help girls.  I've been using Laura Mercier Oil-free foundation, which I absolutely love, however, it's $50 a bottle, and I just can't afford that right now.  I'm out of foundation and desperately need some.  Does anyone use a drugstore brand that they love?  Some things you need to know about me:  I have acne prone skin, so whatever it is, it needs to be oil-free.  If it's not, and has any type of oil, including mineral, I will break out.  I've tried Stila - broke me out.  Tried Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse - broke me out.

Any recs?

I've had good luck with Neutrogena in the past.

Whatever you do, make sure you buy stuff from a place that allows you to return open cosmetics (Maybe Riteaid? Walgreens?) so you can buy a few colors/brands to try.  I mistakenly bought a lipstick from Target thinking all the stores had a returns policy on makeup now ... not so hmm.gif!

I really like Almay, and they have everthing categorized according to skin type.

Neutrogena oil free foundation with spf. The Neutrogena concealer pen with salicylic acid is the best concealer I've found for blemishes besides minerals
