88933_WB3412.jpgIt keeps popping up on the jcrew website early every morning.  I am so drawn to it, but it looks a little wild.  I am pale with brown hair and blue eyes and am 5'6" tall but usually wear at least 3 inch heels so would it overpower me?  Someone on here bought it because I remember commenting on it.

I really like it. I think it would be great with a chunky heel.

Sorry, no. IMO it looks like a 1960's shower curtain. :( But I don't generally like a lot of JCrew prints, so I'm kind of biased here.

I think it's one of those dresses that not everyone could pull off... but could be super cute on.

I could see it on you.  I think it definitely calls for an updo though.

On the other side of the coin, this is definitely a dress that could "wear you" vs. you wearing it...

I find its just a bit too much - the gathers, the ruffle, the cuffed long sleeves and the very colorful pattern.  I think it would overwhelm most women.

Thanks.  I like the dress, but I am just honestly afraid it would wear me the more I look at it.

i tried on this dress in another pattern and it was super cute on! i like this pattern a lot but i am short and know it would be overpowering on me. but i think if you are taller and kept everything else simple it could be really cute!

Nope. There is way too much going on between the design and the fabric.

I have tried this dress on and I do like it. I think it takes a lot of personality to pull it off though and it is a really memorable dress. I really wish this pattern had been made in a silk skirt because I would've purchased that.
