VS pants/swimsuit reviews

Just wanted to review the stuff I ordered, for any that are interested!

I got a couple pairs of jeans, and a pair of khakis -

I'm normally btwn a 2 and 4 at most places, so I ordered a mix of sizes.  Everything in a 4 was too big, so I'd agree with those that say they run a tad big.  I was disappointed in the jeans - the denim seemed okay, but the rise was soooo high on all of them that it swallowed half my back, and the back pockets were unusually large in all 3 pairs.  I really liked the khakis but would need to size down - have decided not to because the rise was a touch high in them as well.  All the pants I got accomodated the booty and thighs just fine in the smaller size though, for any of you curvy girls that are wondering wink.gif.  I did order wider-legged styles, and may have needed a 4 in any very narrow cuts.

And a couple swimsuits-

These first 2 swimsuits are VS brand, and they're pretty cute on.  Unfortunately they do not have those handy lining pockets for little swimsuit helpers hmm but I think I'm going to keep both anyway.  The tops are nice and secure and would be good for sportier outings.  I got a small in everything and while the tops fit well (32B) I could have sized up on the bottoms for a little more coverage and been fine.

This one is by L*space, and I super-hearted it in the pic, but the fit leaves something to be desired.  I got a small in the top like I did in the others, but it was at least 1 size too small, possibly 2.  The cups aren't wide enough, and there was alot of squished, unsexy side-boob going on.  I truly, honestly do no know how the model in this pic fit her much-larger-than-mine tatas in a large, which is as large as they go omfg.gif.  I was going to reorder this one because I think it's so cute, but they're out.  The bottoms are okay in a small, maybe a touch cheeky but decent.  Could have sized up there too for more coverage.

HTH someone!

VS pants are huge! I ordered a 6 and an 8 a while ago, because I'm usually in the middle, and they both looked like clown pants on me. I had to get a 4, and I have exactly ONE other pair of pants that is a 4 (and I almost didn't buy those because vanity sizing pisses me off on principle - I'm not stupid enough to believe I'm a 4, so don't think you can trick me!)

Wow thanks for the detailed review!  They run that big huh?  I've only ordered the yoga pants and I thought those were slightly big.  I'm glad to hear that if I order the smaller size my butt wont be squished flat.  A lot of their pants come in a 30" inseam, I'll probably order some of those in the near future now that I know how their pants fit.

According to your review of the bikinis, I'm probably I should order M and maybe L for the bottoms.

Thanks again for the review!
