pink cord pants

I want a cord or velvet pair that can be dressed both up and down. I tried these on at Abercormbie and they were the only ones I found that would fit me well, but I'm not sold on them for $39.95.

Do you girls have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I know that Express has the velvet editor's pants.  Also Victoria's Secret has some cute cords and velvet pants.  You might check those out.

As for the abercrombie ones, I think the pockets make them more casual, but they are cute.

Lilykind--for I don't think $40 is bad for those!  They are cute and if they fit well I think it's worth it.  Plus I think 40 is cheap for abercrombie, lately I've noticed that most of their pants/jeans are $60 and up.  Anyhoo, just my input cuz I think those are really cute...I might even go try them on myself.

I agree those pants look super cute. I don't know how you could do much better at such a good price!

I love those cords and a good fitting pant is surely worth $40. I say go for it.

I think they're definitly $40 worth of cute.  I like them a lot.  I saw some on sale at Gap online yesterday.  Didn't click on them, though, so I don't know what sizes are left, but they might be a little cheaper.d

I bought myself a pair from Wal-Mart a couple of months ago and I saw them there again this weekend.  They look almost like the ones you posted except they are a lighter pink.  I love them.  They sit a little below the bellybutton and were only $16-ish.

I bought a cute pair at Club Monaco a few months ago. Dusty pink, 5-pocket jeans style.

I love them but I always have issues trying to find shoes to wear with them. I think black looks too dark and I don't have anything pink that looks right.

What do you plan on wearing with yours?

I got these from Anthro and love them!  They can be easily dressed up or down!

So after a week's worth of shopping, here's what happened everywhere I went

J. Crew: Had perfect cords that were on sale for $39, except the pink they had was the light pale baby pink that looks horrendous and dirties easily.

Anthro: Tried to find FP's cords, which I thought were adorable, except none of the Anthros near me had my size...or anything close.

Club Monaco: saw the $39 cords and they were great...but also the smallest size available was way too big...

I actually ended up buying the Abercrombie pair I posted, but I tried to wear them around my apartment yesterday and the snap button at the waist kept busting. The next size up was just too baggy everywhere, so those pants are going back to the store...hope they give me a damn refund! I didn't realize the snap button closure would be such a problem.

I plan on wearning the pair I eventually get with my saddle Frye boots, my Minnetonka moccasins, and mostly other brown shoes. I think cords are pretty earthy no matter what so it works out well.

The search continues...
