Well a way to reassure yourself is to check your bedding for them If you see a bunch of black dots down the sides, then you have bedbugs (the dots are their poop). If not, you're good!
Also, bedbugs leave bites that look very similar to mosquito bites and they itch 10 times worse than a mosquito bite, so if you don't have those either, you're still good.
I've had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with bedbugs before, so I know them that well!
(Oh, and my experience didn't happen at my own home, but it was when I worked at Cedar Point during a summer. The dorm I stayed in got them in a wing.)
Are you from Ohio? I love Cedar Point more than anything! :)
Nope, I'm in and from Iowa! Lol I absolutely love Cedar Point though, to an obsessive point of stalking websites when new rides go in, etc., so I decided to work there a summer 8 years ago One of my tattoos actually is part of the Millenium Force logo and represents my summer of working there......I chose that because it's my fave coaster EVER and it opened the summer I worked there!
Maybe you are just itching by thinking about it. When I was cashiering and someone would by lice shampoo my head would suddenly start itching like crazy!
I definitely get itchy legs in the winter so I am sure you are bedbug free! Like Carrie said, you would see signs if you had them - bite marks, flecks of blood on your bedding, etc. Maybe you should buy some bedbug spray for peace of mind. Apparently they like to hang out in crevices and in the gaps in hardwood floors so you could just spray the perimiter of your room(s) as a precautionary measure.
That is so cool! I never thought of a roller coaster-inspired tatoo before. I went last year for the first time in several years. It was so fun.
Lynnie - Sorry about the hijack.

Yep, ever since working there, I've tried to get back every summer. Unfortunately, I haven't been back for 3 years due to financial reasons.....I miss it!
