Workout Challenge Week 7
Permalink Closed

How'd everyone do last week?  I sucked because we were away visiting family, and I've actually up a few pounds from when we started.  But since returning home I've been doing well and just finished day 3 of my 18 day goal.  My problem lately has been food - I do a lot of random snacking and "forget" to account for the calories.  I need to be better about that.  I tried weight watchers awhile back and didn't have much success but am thinking about trying again.  I'd really like to be down about 20 pounds by May 1st.

So my goal right now is the 18 consecutive days, and my reward is a pair of desparately needed black flats.

Blech. I sucked last week. My Aunt Period was visiting and I couldn't refrain from lying on the couch and eating delicious chocolates... so no goal met for me.

This week's goal: 2 cardio tennis classes (these things seriously kick my ass), 2 visits to the gym, and at least 1 day of weights

Reward: the new Stila lipstain Sephora was so lovely to point me in the direction of via email

I did really well - I've done an hour work out with a half hour of strenuous cardio for 12 days straight -- 6 more days to go to complete my 18 day goal!

I'm not seeing it so much on the scale, but clothes are starting to fit better.

Ok I'm joining in on this workout challenge. The BF and I are trying to get in our best shape ever. (we'll see how we do....)

So here are my goals (for week 1):

1) 2 hours of cardio (4 30 min sessions)

2) 3 strength training sessions

3) Go back to counting WW points

4) Stretch a little EVERY day

wish me luck :)

D, you're doing great!  I was on my 6th day but I got derailed - am sick with a fever so I missed yesterday and today.  But I'm feeling better and plan to start up again tomorrow.  i think I'm actually going to go for 30 days - I read some great stuff on a website and it was very motivating.  This guy has used "30 day trials" to develop some really great habits.  Here's the link if anyone else is interested in reading:
