How long does it take?

I posted up 19 items to ebay today and only 9 are showing currently on ebay. is this normal for it to take this long for things to show up as listed? When I go to myebay and check under my for sale stuff all 19 things are showing. Thank for all your help I'm such an ebay novice!

I've noticed that it takes a while for things to show up after listing them too...its annoying. Not quite sure why it happens.

I think when you list designer items someone has to authenticate the auction before it actually posts to the site - helps monitor and cut down on fakes.
