I've only gone when I was a younger with my parents. It's cold and beautiful. Are you going skiing? Do you plan on doing Reno also since it's so close by?

Lake Tahoe is just BEAUTIFUL!  I was there very briefly years ago for a mountain wedding, we left early to avoid getting snowed in, so I don't have any recommendations!

We ended up in Reno for the rest of the same vacation, it was right in the middle of Spring Break and the crowds were bad!

I've been there a number of times, but only in the winter.  I have no idea what it's like in warm weather.

Lake Tahoe is one of the most amazingly beautiful places I've ever seen! I went cross country and that stands out to me the most. It is breathtaking.
