One of my cases got appealed (just found out today) and I get to handle it all by myself! It's a lot of work but hopefully it will bring me a lot of recognition for a job well done. I think I have a super strong case, so I'm not worried about winning, which makes the whole thing even better. Happy dance!

After 2.5 years of long distance with my bf of 4 years.... we are done!! He is moving up here in 1-2 weeks!!!!!!! Yay!!!!

I booked a trip to Buenos Aires! It's been about 3 years since I've left the country.
I started my period today and my PMS lifted! I am in SUCH a better mood.
I am taking a fashion sketching class, and may also take a jewelry class in the summer or fall.
I am going to 2 fashion shows this weekend. Excited!

- it's been raining and under 60 degrees here. love.
- i did my taxes and i'm getting a nice refund back (WOOT!!!). i'm also getting $4 back from the state (mini woot?)
- i'm finally getting over my stomach flu + bronchitis, and i think i lost weight over the holidays.
- football season is almost over, and i won't have to hear about tom brady for a few months

I just got done booking a flight to austria... I leave Feb 5th to see the BF which I haven't seen since beginning of december. It will only be for 3 days, but I cant wait

Yay everyone!

I'm happy because for the first time since my move back to my hometown, I'm not incurably lonely anymore. I've gotten in touch with a couple high school friends who still live in town, and one of my very best friends from high school just moved back here (probably for good, or at least for a very long time) so now I have people to hang out with on the weekends! I know I can't hang out with my high school friends forever. But it is WONDERFUL that now I actually have people to call if I want to grab a beer or something until I make some new friends. And I've been finding some awesome shopping around here, which I'm surprised about. And at work I'm finally getting my foot in the door of a lot of projects and I'm busier than ever, which I'm psyched about because before I felt like they were just giving me busywork to occupy me. I spent most of my days playing around online.

I actually kind of feel like I'm starting to have a real life here again.

I'm just happy that my office is actually habitable today--yesterday the heat did not come on till 4 PM, and I was sitting there all day in wool pants, wool tights, two sweaters and a coat and STILL freezing. Also, I got a ton of sleep last night, and it's really amazing what a great mood it's put me in. I should do that more often!

I've managed to find some common ground with my future SIL and she is finally including me in some of the wedding preparation and considering my opinion on things.

I love love love our apartment (we moved in October) and can't wait to get home everyday and hang out with my bf and my dog.

We booked our trip to Hawaii! Oct 3 to 11. Yay!

ETA: also I am having a super crazy good hair day. And I wore a little makeup today. I feel like a million bucks!

I just cleaned my car and that is making me happy...I'm going to vegas next week with hubby only (yahoo!)...AND...my son won the Spelling Bee for his school (although now I owe him a hundred bucks because that's how much I told him I would pay him if he won...didn't REALLY think he'd win but he proved me wrong!)....
