How many pounds does it take..

for you to go down a size?  Please post heights/weights if you want.
I am asking because I'd like to tone up and get in shape, but would not like to drop more than one size (I want my clothes to still fit!).  I am about 140 lbs, 5'6", and usually a size 4 on top, 6 on bottom.  I would like to stay about a size 4 and am hoping losing 10 lbs won't take me too much smaller.  I have been as small as 122 lbs, and I was probably a 2, so I think I should be fine.

Remember that, depending on the type of activity, losing inches from toning up will make clothes fit differently.  The scale sometimes doesn't even change in that situation.  10lbs. will probably get you where you want to be if we're strictly talking about weight.

I'm 5'4" and I lost 22 lbs this year which translated to 2 sizes. So 10 lbs sounds right for one size.
