I posted on this last week and decided to order. I got it in yesterday and snapped a quick picture this morning. It's right out of the package and wrinkly right now. The color is almost identical to the online picture. I LOVE the color!

I really like the color on you. I think a more traditional, more fitted pea coat style jacket would be more flattering though.

Eh, I dunno.  I think it looks as good as that coat could look, but IMO the design wasn't executed very well.  It looks like a maternity-specific design, and you're so tiny it looks like you're swimming in it through the middle.

It would be really cute if it was cropped though!  And maybe w/a 3/4 length sleeve ... ?

I would return it. The color is cute and the style is cute, but it doesn't really do anything for your lovely figure.

I agree.  Cute in theory, but just doesn't work in reality.

OTOH, is it a good fit to wear over bulky sweaters?

I really like it so I hate to say return it. Maybe a tailor can take in the sides a little?

I love the color, but I agree that it looks to big through the midsection. I think the fact that it is double breasted adds to the bulk. I just want to belt it! Too bad it's not more of a traditional trench smile.gif

I agree.  The color looks fantastic on you but the fit is not good.  You need a cut that will show off your great figure.

I think you should return it.  I love the color but you can find a much more flattering fit.
