I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I love the T-shirts by Pitaya. I just got this white one myself. It's not completely opaque, but it is not-see-through enough that I think I'll probably go without a cami underneath with it gets warmer. (If you get it, size up like you would at f21. I'm a S in misses but I have to get an L in these. And don't put them through the dryer because they lose their shape much faster)

I buy the Ralph Lauren Polo Men's v-neck undershirts. They are perfect for layering or wearing alone. Plue you can get 3 of them for around $25.00 at any RL Polo outlet.

Thanks girls!  But one of my resolutions is that all my basics must be easy care (washable and dryable).  Things take so long to air-dry here it's ridiculous (my jeans take a full 2 days, so a tee might take 1).  Maybe for a special-occasion item but no-can-do for something that would get so much wear.

And unfortunately, no RL outlet near me either.

My last white tee was from Gap, and they discontinued the style.  But it held up so well to washing for nearly 3 years!  Might go try on some there, now that they've got a better selection for spring ...

Crewneck fine-gauge cotton cardigans. Too damn many v-neck cardigans out there. I've been looking for a pink cotton crewneck cardigan for more than a year. At least I found an option in brown, which was also on my list, but it isn't cotton. At least it's machine wash/dry flat.

Black vegan wedge boots. Plenty of options in brown, but for some reason it's assumed that if you want black boots you must be into motorcycles or Marilyn Manson or Star Trek.

Dark denim pencil skirt for under $30.

I've recently realized that my dressy black nylon (resembles taffeta) trench needs to be replaced. I fear this hunt.

I have two that I love from JC Penny, each for about $10. I got one this past summer and one just a couple months ago, so I imagine that they probably have something very similar this season, too.

As for what I can't find- it varies by season. Right now, I want new brown knee-high boots. My beloved pair is on its last legs (no pun intended) and I really need to replace them. I've searched everywhere, but the perfect pair continues to elude me.


Yummmm...zebra.  I hadn't thought of that.  I have some zebra flats, but some zebra print heels would be nice to have.  I will have to look into that.  Thanks for the idea.

Tan or camel high heel sandals that match my skin tone. I know they make your legs look great, but I just haven't found the perfect pair. Everything is too light or too dark.

I have multiple cream colored camis from Ann Taylor. I've had them for years and years and they are still regulars in my work wardrobe. I recommend checking there!

Sometimes you can find the RL shirts at TJ maxx too. I always get the Men's sz small...they shrink a lot the first time you wash and dry them...but for me they shrink to the perfect size...(i'm a sz 6 and wear md tops most of the time). They hold up really well in the washer and dryer.

Ditto to jeans. And just pants in general. I have fairly thick thighs compared to the rest of my body and it's become next to impossible to find pants or jeans that are flattering and fit well. UGH.

a great strapless bra.  My fabulous Rigby and Peller died, and I haven't found a great replacement.  I miss that bra. 

A very cute single breasted trench.  In the right sort of tan/beige for pale brunettes.

I agree on the nude sandals/pumps! I found the best pair by Kenzie last year and got a back up pair because I knew I would be devastated when they wore out!

I'm with you girls on the push up bras. I have a large chest and decided awhile back that the best thing to do would be embrace it. I actually had a great push up bra from the gap of all places & one of my friends said to me one day "whatever bra you are wearing, go out and buy 10 more" But I was there recently and the push up bras only seemed to go up to C cup
