Sports Bra?
Permalink Closed

Ugh. I am so sick of my sports bras, which smash me in and require me to layer a regular bra under a sports bra. I did a search in the forum and it looks like in the past people recommended VS, enell, and the Nike Dri-Fit running bra.

Unfortunately, I don't do VS, the enell is too armor-looking to me, and the Nike one is sold out. Any other reccs?

P.S. I do need something suitable for larger chests, and it's important to me not to end up with uniboob. I'm a 32DD.

TIA!

Ah.  A subject that I have knowledge on.

I have two shock absorber sports bras and wear them running.  I also wear either a 32DD or 32E so we are similar sized.  This is my favorite so far.  Mine is in a mint green with black trim and looks nicer.  Here is a link to a british store that carries them so you can see more pics.

Shock Absorber B4490 D+ Max Bra Top

I ordered this one as well but haven't received it yet.

And this one

The first one is a level 4 shock absorber and the last two are either 3's or 4's.  They definitely do the job.  I prefer the ones with a traditional hook closure on the back.  The ones with the side adjustment are just too darn hard to get off when they are sweaty and the only times I wear them is when I plan to run.

You might try champion.  I have a couple of their underwire sport bras and they are great.  I'm a 34D and they hold things in place quite nicely.

Oh my gosh, BEST sports bra EVER for large chests is by Moving Comfort, the Fiona or the Athena. They're essentially the same bra, but one is cotton and one is more moisture wicking. I wear a 34 DD in the Moving Comfort, and the girls don't move, yet I don't feel as though I can't breathe.
