J Crew email - just received in my inbox - these pants are all wrinkled, right?  Why would they not take an extra minute to press or steam them?  Just thought it was weird...

Those pants look wrinkled.

Hard to make bright orange capris look stylish and flattering, though.

I don't think they're wrinkled, i think it's the fit.  I'm surprised they didn't photoshop things out!

The only "wrinkle" I see is the crease down the front of the legs. The others just seem to be from wearing since they seem like stretchy pants. Normal to me!

I think the ad is pretty bad. Not sure about the creasing, but honestly it looks to me like those are too tight for the model.

It also looks like the waistband is twisted and off center. Not a good ad photo at all.

Well, I expected to be biased because I love J. Crew... but I think the ad would be beautiful if the pants were photo-shopped, but am forced to admit that it does look bad.  What is really ironic is that it says "our best fitting pant"... when they don't fit in the photo at all.

I too am biased and LOVE J.Crew.  I think it's hard to tell with both how the model is standing, and the fact she is pulling on the pant at the waistband.  Btw..this photo is straight out of the catalog, maybe it's just thrifty advertising, if not it's best job.  I am interesdted in trying these pants, though not in orange, an not because of this particular photo.
