Are cowboy boots still in?  I have this beautiful pair that is just sitting in my closet.  I try not to worry about trends too much,  but at the same time I don't want to be a fashion victim.

I think that cowboy boots are generally pretty classic, they just go through phases of popularity. As long as the rest of your outfit is right, you won't look like a fashion victim. i'd probably just wear them with jeans and a current top.

I think it really depends. I think they can look cool, but they can also look like a costume. Honestly, that's why I've never bought any myself. I'm not confident in my ability to pull it off without looking like I'm headed for the rodeo.

They're classic.  I like them with simple outfits, though... jeans and a white button up, maybe with a chunky necklace.

In SoCal they never seem to go out of style. Like Kmd said, the chic and simple look is best.

Depends on what part of the country you're from. I'm in DC and people still wear Fryes, but not usually cowboy boots. My boyfriend likes mine, though, so I wear them sometimes. But I try to be unexpected in my pairing. I have a horror of looking like a Baby Boomer from Arizona - so no big belts, no tucked-in shirts, and absolutely NO western-themed accessories.
