york-6_black_front_large.jpgThese are yummy.  Do you think these will be in style next year?
**UPDATE
I asked this same question over at makeupalley and they got a good laugh at me.  He is a copy of the thread.  D, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I think I am officially through with going over there.  I don't visit them much, but occassionally if I want a quick opinion I will go, but some of the cattiness is just so juvenile for a 37 year old woman like me to put up with.  I love stylethread much much better.  D, I don't mean to hijack this thread but I thought you ladies would get a kick out of this little exchange over there. I am "hairstrands".

will these still be in style next fall/winter?hairstrands1/8/2008 12:33PM

Wow, great sale. I like the patent mj's with red heel.

Bloomie- those were some unnessecary responses, a simple 'they're not my style' would have done. They are kind of cute, but I would'nt wear them. Is it the ties you like? I think if the ties didn't go up so high, they would be much cuter. (but that's just me)

I have two pair of DV's and they have ran TTS for me (the boots I have are just a hair on the big size but not enough to make a size difference).  HTH!

Bloomie -

I sort of take what the girls on that board say w/ a grain of salt. Sometimes there's sort of a heard-mentality there.

RE the DV sale: Boo, the shoes I have been lusting after aren't on sale!

Me too! There's only two pairs I'd never wear.

Yea, I wouldn't worry about their catty comments.  I kind of appreciate it in a way.  This board is awesome for putting things in a friendly, helpful matter, but I personally don't mind hearing, "No way!" as well.

I really love stylethread. I used to go to the Vogue shopping forums years ago and the girls were so mean! I asked a question about milkfed and they ripped me apart. Plus they always assumed that you had $ and you could never ask about downmarket bargains or thrifting or anything like that. It was like a really terrible junior high. Anyway, after my bad experience I stopped going, because it just wasn't fun and I was always really hesitant to post because let's face it, you don't generally ask questions if you're sure of something. So I know how you feel.
