Eyelash tinting?

I have super blonde eyelashes it takes several coats of mascara to get them to show up and then it looks cakey and gross, so i'm considering tinting...

Has anyone ever tried this?

I've always been interested. I know the chemicals are harsh, however, so I would research beforehand. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

One of my old roommates used to do it. She liked the results a lot, but her eyelashes were black to begin with.

I'd definitely research salons - you'd want someone experienced.

One thing to consider: If your lashes are fine, they will be tinted but will not look as good as with a mascara since the layers of mascara coat the lashes and add volume. Not sure if you are concerned with this though.

my lashes are pretty fine...i thought at the least I would be able to use less mascara every day...which would be great...

I too have really white blonde eyelashes, I got it done a few years ago and wasn't really impressed and it faded super fast. I have heard good things about lash extensions but think they are $$.
