I have a photo of a friend and she has a hair going across her face. She wants me to photoshop out the hair so she can use the photo for an xmas card. What's the best way to do this??

I guess it really depends on how much hair there is, but I'd use the clone tool in very small increments.

That's what I was doing, but it looks messed up - mostly because it's going over her smile.

I would really zoom in on it and use the rubber stamp tool to stamp the skin next to it onto the hair. Be sure to make a new stamp often, as the color/shade of the skin will vary along the path of the hair.

Another nice trick is to zoom in on the teeth and whites of the eyes and dab a lighter shade of white into the centers of the exposed teeth and eye whites to brighten them.

Ok, sounds like the way I was doing it is the best way. Maybe if I zoom even more it will look better.

Thanks!!
