I am loooking for a cute plaid trench coat that hits above the knee. I would like it to be plaid, but I don't really care what color plaid. It does not have to be super warm since I live in Arizona. I am looking to spend $300 or less. Has anyone seen anything that fits thos criteria? TIA!

Not sure if this meets your criteria, but I have this one from the Gap and I love it.  It's $128.  It's cuter in person than on the model - if you want I can snap a pic of me wearing it.
