Blueprint (the magazine) has died. RIP. This is the first time ever that a magazine that I subscribed to has folded and I'm a little upset. Apparently it's just being rolled into Martha Stewarts Weddings magazine...seriously. I'll be damned if I'm going to be getting a Weddings mag in the mail. Or any other MS magazine for that matter.
I checked the Blueprint website and nothing's up about it yet. But memo's have been circulated and rumors are a-flying on the media blogs that I read.
Hopefully nobody on here was thinking about this for thier Secret Santa's!

I hope this isn't true! It's a fabulous magazine! Another reason why I buy at the stand instead of subscribing, I'm sure 99% of the people who buy Blueprint would not want a weddings magazine.
This is the first time I'm shocked a mag is shutting down. I had heard so many good things about it, I was considering subscribing soon. I was actually thinking of picking up the current issue w/some leftover GC balance I have for Barnes & Noble.
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia president (since November 2004) Susan Lyne announced Monday (December 10) that the two-year-old Blueprint is being folded in to Martha Stewart Weddings following Blueprint's January/February 2008 finale. Blueprint is being turned into "special interest issues" going to MSW's circa 270,000 circulation.
The announcement said that Blueprint publisher (since January 2008) Amy Wilkins, founding editor-in-chief (May 2006) Sarah Humphreys will be working on the new project.
