I am thoroughly annoyed with my hair. I feel like it never looks good and always takes so much work. Its really fine and dry, no body and I have lots of breakage.
I want too look professional at work and stylish the rest of the time but 99% of the time I just end up pulling it back into a bun or ponytail becuase I have no idea how to make it look good. It looks ok when I use curling irons but i find them so hard on my hair I can't use them everyday.
My hair is blonde, fine and long- past shoulder length. I have split ends and could probably use a good cut. Does any have any advice for me on how to deal with this monster and make it look my best?

pardon my cheesy camera smile and the finger.

Is it naturally blonde? I wonder if adding some low-lights might help w/ depth and richness.

Also maybe just cutting it into a cute bob and adding layers?

I like Kitty's idea. If you don't mind cutting it, my stylist has an adorable cut. It's just below her collarbone in front and a bit higher in back (kind of like Posh's cut, but a lot longer). Her hair is long, straight, fine and blond like yours (and mine!).

I think a swing bob would be great for your fine hair. Girls w/ thin hair look great in them. Girls w/ thick hair (like me) look like giant mushrooms. Do you use a round brush to lift the roots when you dry it?

Sigh...I would KILL to have your straight hair. I second (third?) the idea of a long swing bob, shorter in back, longer in front. You could even do fringe bangs like Katie Holmes.

Shorter cut , with lowlights - great for thin hair!

Or hair extensions ... I LOVE mine!!!
