Needsfashionadvice - J.Crew Driving Mocs?
Permalink Closed

I know needsfashionadvice posted about these, and some of you other posters expressed interest in the J.Crew York driving mocs.

Has anyone bought them? I'm looking for a review - mainly, comfort and width (I have wide feet and am wondering if they would fit). TIA!

I never bought them because of the fact that they weren't going to ship until mid December, I've still got my eyes on them though, they're the perfect weekend shoe for me.

I have them and I love them.  I think that they actually run a little wide.  My foot is pretty average so it isn't really noticeable, but I don't think that someone with a wider foot would have any problems.  Plus, the leather is super soft and so even if they were a bit too narrow they would probably stretch.  The only bummer is that they only come in whole sizes.  I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 and I got the 9.  I tried on the 8 and they were just a hair too short. The 9's are a little big but I just put an insole in them and they are fine.  HTH.

Thanks txgal! They're super cute, and I could use a dressier pair of flats. They look really comfy. I was only worried about the width, but that doesn't sound like it will be a problem.

Courtney and needsfashionadvice - I really want to buy them, but I wish they'd go on sale first. I don't think I am going to wait though. The two colors I like that they have in my size have ship dates of December and March(!).

I was hoping they would go on sale too but I don't think they will. They dark brown isn't available in my size anymore either so I'm not sure which color color I'll go for.
