button up leg warmers - cute or weird?

I can't decide if these are cute or not. But I'm oddly drawn to them. I've seen them a couple places - thoughts?

I think someone with the right kind of funky style could pull them off...though not me. I say cute and weird.

I love those but could never in a million years pull them off. They'd just end up sitting in my sock drawer but I do think they're really cute.

Cute, for sure. I love legwarmers but I'm too inept at socks as a fashion accessory too pull it off. Plus it's practically 90 degrees here today - not really legwarmer weather. Boo.

Sigh. I love them. And as much as I want to be the person who can pull them off, I don't think I can. I hate it when I love something I know won't work on me!

 $18. Sock Dreams had them this afternoon, but it looks like they've already sold out. I've seen them around a couple places, although I can't think of where else I've seen them right now!
