Just wanted to see if you girls wanted to do a Secret Santa exchange, like we done the years before. I don't mind organizing, although I would appreciate some extra hands to help coordinate. Let me know what you think.
we should possibly brainstorm on some participation criteria like # of posts, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
we had two participants get shafted by their assigned secret santa last year. the ST secret elf happily stepped in, but I don't want to set the precedent that it's ok to shaft people and all is well.
I'm thinking 2000 posts? require that information for participation is sent via email to an ST secret santa email box (I would give access to the organizers.) More or less posts? opinions?

I would definately participate and would be willing to help organize. D I agree with you on there being some sort of criteria for participation. # of posts etc. I'd hate for anyone to get shafted this year.

I'm totally in. And I do agree that participation criteria is necessary, but 2000 might be slightly high. There are tons of girls who are an integral and fun part of ST without having 2000 posts. We don't want to leave anybody out like past years! If any help is needed, send me a PM..I've got lots of free time now that I'm not in school.

The criteria issue is definitely a tough one. I do think if we set the bar too low for posts we might have people flake. At the same time, it's unfair to honest individuals who would like to participate...
I participated last year too. I feel like setting a very high post limit is a little unfair. I have been participating since the Lucky days, then fashionhag and would hate to think I couldn't participate since my posting has decreased.
Any thoughts about setting a post limit or in the alternative length of membership limit?
I'd like to participate this year, having missed last year. I don't like the # of posts as criteria, though. A lot of us just don't have the time to make thousands of posts. Erin's idea is good.
I also agree that rules should be applied to avoid any past issues with the Secret Santa. But the # of posts is also high, I don't think I could catch up to 2000 posts. But this will be my third Secret Santa, and I been a member for a long time.
D, let me know what you decide, and I will go forth to organize if thats okay with you.
