More realistically, I think I want something like the Seychelles At Last or some such similar Loeffler Randall Kit knockoff. Or I'd go for the 8020 wedge boot if I could find it in black!

Soft, chunky sweaters with interesting details (mostly cardigan and jacket-ish types).
I need to find a replacement for the Hollister sweater I had to trash this summer. I've got champagne tastes on a beer budget, so this one has been rough. Some styles I like include...

I'm thinking of going to a sample sale this Saturday with a lot of boutique brands at a deep discount (Lily McNeal, Park Vogel, 12th St by Cynthia Vincent) so maybe I can nab a couple.

Printed skirts w/patterns that are complimentary with black. This is the kind of thing I search through the Anthro sale rack for.

I also have cravings for.

* Tights/OTK socks (especially in knits like wool and maybe cashmere)
* A leather hoodie/jacket

Llilykind, I really like those last two sweaters. Who makes them? I'm having trouble searching at Revolve.

I would love to get:
-dresses -- sweater dresses by Lily McNeal in particular
-a black Mackage coat
-a new pair of low heels that are genuinely comfortable
-a beret
-cardigan or wrap sweaters

Since I don't really have more money to spend on clothes right now, and somehow I'm not in the mood for cheaper things right now (I just feel like buying lasting pieces), these items will most likely not be purchased.

so many things i want! i have been so gluttonous lately, though, so i am trying to work with what i have. if i had all the money in the world, though...

a cozy sweater like this that isn't $900:

this dress would be amazing, and is so "erin" but i can't rationalize the price..i have been telling myself it would look dumpy on me to feel better about it!:

these steve madden "intyce" boots..they are the closest ko to the loeffler randalls i can't afford!

i have nowhere to wear this but it is so fabulous! (also too expensive...maybe it will go on sale)

They're too wide for most people, but on me they're almost too narrow. I hate having big calves since I'm so limited in cute boot choices. cry

I just can't bring myself to spend the cash on ANYTHING at the moment though. Also, I can tell no one's been eyeing them at the store where I tried them on so I'm holding out.

that is really cute, and it's nice in person, too. It's my backup, because I really want it in black/white!

Im still on the lookout for "my" pieces this season. In my head, I've found:

grey patent heels that aren't too clunky but also aren't too dainty
snuggly sweaters that are cozy without adding bulk
a dress (probabaly craftan style) with at least somewhat of a sleeve, in a bright color
pants that aren't jeans, but don't make me feel 40 times too overdresed for work (why is it that i can wear a dress and feel fine, but I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb in trousers?)
