A feel-better gift to myself
Permalink Closed

Hey girls. So, I'm feeling really lousy these days and decided to surprise myself (can one really surprise oneself?!) with a little something under 100$ that will cheer me up. But I have no idea what to get (except that I know I don't want shoes).

Suggestions? smile

I don't know if this would be your style or not,but I bought this necklace from UrbanOutfitters for myself the other day and it is very charming in person.

What about a new bottle of perfume or a new eyeshadow or lipstick?

Is there anything you need?   I like to splurge on nice body products like shampoos or body washes.   Smells nice and you get to use a little everyday until it's gone!

I would probably do perfume and/or make-up. I LOVE Sarah Jessica Parker's new fragrance, "Covet" as well as Gwen Stefani's "LAMB." For make-up I would just go to a bunch of department store counters and see what kind of eye palettes they have right now... good time of the year to get yourself a gift; there's a lot of sets out right now since Christmas is apparently "right around the corner"!

I'm always tempted to skimp and go with a 30-minute massage. Why not get a 60-minute one or add some extra features to the shorter one? One way to get the most out of a service is to ask for a back and chest facial. THat way, you get the skin benefits of the facial and a nice back/shoulder rub too.

I'd take advantage of the Sephora F&F code to get a new fragrace or some fun makeup palettes.

Going to the spa for a massage is another good idea.

a massage sounds so good
I alway like to cheer myself up with a nice smelling bubble bath and some magazines or a fun book

If you want something material, shoes always have a way of cheering me up

I know this sounds weird but I always used to buy pretty bras or lingerie when I was feeling blah. I also agree that a makeup pallette would be awesome or a fragrance. What about a nice luxurious skincare/bath set from Bliss or L'Occitaine?
