Okay, I've come to the conclusion that carrying around Hayden on casual days in my 4 inch stillettos isn't the smartest thing.  Especially since he's crawling everywhere and will soon be walking.  But I refuse to wear flats/tennis shoes (unless I'm at the gym).   I need some shoes or boots that will work on the weekends that still give me the height I need (all of my jeans need some sort of heel/wedge).  I love platforms!  I have the "Kor-like" tan suede wedge boots but sometimes they're too casual.  They're cute when it's snowing!!

Any suggestions??

Try Frye shoes (Zappos has a bunch)  They give you the heel you may crave but, because many styles are platforms, they are super comfortable and really cute.  They also have some cute lower heeled shoes on Antrho's site.  Backordered, of course.

Hey rar, I also refuse to wear flats unless I'm at the gym!

My comfiest shoes are from BR, MIA, BCBGirls and Steve Madden. My current Steve Madden pair of patent peep toe platforms have a cushion where the ball of my foot sits. One thing I do notice from my comfy shoes is that I have sized up on them. I'm usually a 6.5, and all the above are 7s.

Another note: Ever since I had DD, I noticed my feet a bit wider and the 6.5s are a bit tight around my foot and the next size up usually helps alleveate that. I usually buy one of those heel cushions so my foot wont slip out of the 7s.

These are pricey, but I recently discovered Gentle Souls. They are so buttery soft and supportive, I could barely feel them on my feet. I felt like I could run in the heels and I hate wearing heels. Sadly, I don't own any yet but will be fantasizing about them until I do! I pray for a sale.
